Open the wooden door into the cobbled courtyard and be prepared to be wowed by the stunning Captains House. Spread over two floors, this property is the perfect retreat for friends or families. The Captain's House is laid out in the traditional style with all the rooms accessed via the pretty cobbled courtyard and with stone steps up to the Captain's Room which overlooks the courtyard and village.
A traditional large and open plan Sala room with a high ceiling of wooden beams consisting of one double bed on a traditional raised platform bed and one single bed on a raised platform. The Sala room also includes further raised platforms adorned with cushions for seating and relaxing, plus a large dining table with chairs.
The ground floor also has a twin room with an adjacent bathroom with bath, overhead shower and WC. A second bathroom with shower/WC is across the courtyard. Also off the ground floor courtyard is a small separate kitchen with free standing cooker, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee machine.
The dining area in the sala room is lit by a chandelier and is perfect if you fancy dining in or just relaxing in the courtyard with your early morning coffee or pre-dinner drink.
There are stairs that lead to the first floor twin room with an ensuite WC and private terrace.
The cobbled courtyard is adorned with bougainvillea flowers and Hibiscus plants. The traditional stone outdoor seating area for alfresco meals together with an upper first floor terrace with outstanding views of the acropolis will ensure you can enjoy not only the fabulous views but the also the scents and sounds of Greek living.What our guests say:
