Lindos boasts an impressive array of shops, selling everything from everyday supermarket items and holiday essentials, to a wide variety of gift and souvenirs.  Some cater for the many day trippers passing through the village who require a quick momento of their visit, whilst others offer a higher quality of unique and original goods.

Traditional Gifts

Traditional Lindian houses decorated their Sala rooms with so called Lindian plates which often depicted Rhodian emblems such as deer, birds, crosses and flowers.    Such plates were brightly coloured and hand painted and replicas can be bought in some of the local shops. Painted ceramics illustrating historical events and mythological stories continue to be popular holiday souvenirs.   Embroidered linen is another traditional craft associated with Lindos, (the village was once famous for its weaving) and some shops continue to sell hand made crocheted table cloths and napkins.  Leather goods such as bags and sandals can also be found.
