Just when the UK is telling us that temperatures are going to fall even further to -18 degrees and when you were started to wish you had asked for thermal underwear instead of designer frillies or boxers for Christmas, our thoughts turn to warmer climes!
Your garden might look like a picture postcard scene with its covering of snow but when the snowman melts and all you are left with is a puddle, a carrot and a couple of bits of charcoal, you start to dream of feeding carrots to the donkeys in Lindos and using the charcoal to fire up the summer BBQ. You prefer the view of the whitewashed villas of Lindos to the snowcovered garden shed and where travel chaos is when a couple of excited donkeys try to overtake the 3 wheeled luggage truck!
